Teens & Youth

 

Youth Fellowship is held on Sunday evenings in the upstairs youth room

at 7:00 pm.  All high school age kids are welcome and encouraged to join in.

Throughout the year our youth hold various fundraising events raising money to help pay for summer trips to Lakeside, Solid Rock & Young Life Camps.

 

The youth are also active in local mission work and reaching out to help those in need.

 

While there is much serious work done there is a good amount of fun to be had as well. 

 

The photos here show many of our kids & leaders who attended Young Life Camp in New York this past summer.

 

Young Life camp incorporates youth oriented fun with the message of Christ in a unique way.  Along with many activities, the kids attend a “club” style talk each evening where the message is shared in a way that our kids can relate to and apply to their lives long after they’re home.

50’s Night  at summer camp.

During a cabin vs. cabin volleyball tournament, the teams had to come

 up with a themed uniform.  One of our groups of kids were Zorros.

 

Climbing walls and a Zipline (left) were only a few of the activities our youth enjoyed during their trip.
